About Me
My name is Jesus. To sum it up a lot... married, software engineer and passionate about new technologies and travel.
More detailed, my profession is computer science, since I was little I love computers, either to work on them, write on them, play with them and waste time messing around..with them. I currently work at DocPath as CTO.
Besides computers, I spend a lot of time planning and making trips, one of my passions, I try not to spend holidays at home whenever possible.
Another of my passions are games (currently XBOX and Switch user), now with less time than when I was younger, but I'll be gamer 'til the end. In addition, I love japanese culture (manga, anime, culture...).
Resume
My passion has always been new technologies, especially computing, which I have followed closely since I was given a computer (Commodore 64) when I was 6 years old. Since then I was clear where I wanted to focus my future.
Once I passed high school, I entered the "Escuela Superior de Informatica de Ciudad Real", where I studied Computer Engineering.
In 2009 I was hired at DocPath, the company in which I have been working and developing my career ever since then, going through different positions (Programmer, Team Leader, Product Owner...).
I am currently CTO, where I manage the software development department where I and 45 other colleagues are renewing and expanding the entire range of products offered to our customers. My work mainly covers three points: definition of solutions for the problems found in and raised by our clients, coordination of the development teams for the development of said solutions and management of the human team that makes up said department.
Trips
One of the things that motivates me the most is to get on a plane and go to a place I have never been, to meet and discover other countries and unique places. I try to take advantage of every occasion that I have to go out and relax traveling.
